Typically this is not a service that we offer at this time. When we provide estimates for this service, it almost always comes out to be more expensive to service the lawn bi-weekly as opposed to weekly. This is because two weeks of growth leads to: 1) increased labour costs, 2) more strain/damage on our equipment. By having you on a weekly schedule, it’s: 1) easier for our team to ensure your property is scheduled effectively and 2) there is much more value to you as the consumer; more consistent service at a lower price. If price/budget is the reasoning for asking (ie. rental property, fixed income) we do offer a lawn/snow package which covers you for lawn and snow service all year, for 12 equal monthly payments. Inquire about it today!
For recurring services (ie. weekly lawn and garden maintenance) you will receive an invoice at the end of the month for work rendered. Payment can be made via e-transfer or online through our credit card payment portal. We are in the process of on-boarding new customers with a “card on file system”. It’s 100% secure and confidential, and you would simply receive a receipt on the 1st of the month. For one time services (ie. property cleanups, etc.) you will be invoiced upon completion of the work. Any projects including material (ie. flowers, mulch) will require a 50% deposit to get on to the schedule.
As much as we would love to control what Mother Nature has in store, we simply cannot. That said, rain delays and potentially dry summers are expected, so we will always keep you informed. In the case of rain, you will receive an email from our team on the day of service notifying you that we will be delayed. Our policy is +/- one day for every rain day. This means, for example, if your regular day of the week is Wednesdays, we would service you on Tuesday/Thursday (if it rains on Wednesday). This works for almost all cases, however, if we get days of rain in a row, we will send additional emails to update you on our action plan. In the case of drought/dry summers, our team will not service a property if it is too dry. We will always try to speak with you (if you are available) to confirm the decision. If you aren’t around when we visit, we will send an email notification to confirm that your property was skipped due to drier conditions and not needing service that week.
While most of our work occurs in the spring-fall months, we are expanding our services with our sister company starting in 2025! These “winter services” will include: Christmas Light Installation and residential snow removal service. This will allow us to provide more competitive pricing by bundling summer/winter services. We are always looking for growth minded, reliable and fun individuals to join our Lawn and Garden Maintenance operations! As a Lawn and Garden Maintenance technician, your role involves performing routine maintenance and care of residential and commercial outdoor spaces, including mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, mulching, pruning, and general landscaping upkeep. The ideal candidate should have a willingness to learn about/work with various landscaping tools and equipment, turf and plant care, as well as be able to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mow lawns to create beautiful stripes, trim edges, and blow excess clippings
- Prune shrubs, trees, and hedges
- Plant and maintain flowers, trees, and other greenery
- Apply mulch, fertilizers, as needed
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and machinery
- Ensure outdoor areas are neat, clean, and well-maintained
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance is preferred but not required. Employer is more than happy to train the right cultural fit!
- Ability to operate power tools and lawn equipment
- Basic knowledge of plant care and horticulture
- Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various conditions
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to support the daily operations of our lawn and garden maintenance company. This role involves handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, customer service, invoicing, and record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be willing to learn our CRM, Yardbook and be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Schedule and coordinate appointments and crew jobs
- Prepare and send invoices, process payments, and maintain financial records for the bookkeeper/accountant
- Maintain client and job records in the company’s CRM, Yardbook
- Assist with payroll and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Order office and job site supplies as needed
- Provide administrative support to management and field teams*Work with field staff to develop SOPs throughout the year
Qualifications:
- Previous office administration experience preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic accounting software
- Friendly and professional demeanor
